One of the only shows I actually will watch (other than N.C.I.S.) I love the premise of the show and I think he could give Bond a run for his money, especially if he has the help of his Miami team! Sure I could have posted several years ago, but the ending of the recent one...
Okay, last Thursdays ending brought a tear to my eye. When Michael was about to get the man who set up Fi and the man was shot, taking out Michale's brother in the process.
Am I the only one?

All in good fun mate. I will need to sit down someday and have a Burn Notice marathon. I'll be sure to have plenty of cold beers and some pizza.

Something to remember...
Now Micheal and his team have to find a way back to get back to the states and take this guy on while having to remain "dead." It ought to be a fun ride.

Sorry I have been away for a while. I have been busy writing my book and I have to say Burn Notice is beating me to some of the best scenes!
After the chargers are placed and everyone is let in on the game plan he begins on the police band radio (seeing as how there is a cop that is about to die at the hands of the lead gang banger)
"Can you hear me, 'cause we can hear you. Every word."
"Who is this?" Was the only thing the bad guy could say and that is when Mike let loose!
"My name is (he pushes a detonator)BOOOOOOM!!!! From the department (pushes another one) BOIOOOOM!!!!"
They just can't leave anything for anyone in this one!

Great show I have been watching since the Season 1 premiere. It started out much more as the Equalizer with the trappings of a spy show at the edges. Much of the time I see their crazy plans and think, "That actually sounds plausible enough to work."
USA is planning a 13 episode season 7.
I remember an article with show creator Matt Nix in which he stated that everything Michael does will work on real life, just that they leave out some of the more important details.

I would say yes. For me, after the first 2-3 seasons the show wasn't so much about the "villain of the week/story arc/season" as I was interested in the relationships between the characters; YMMV. As far as your concern Michael would always have the rug pulled out from under him:
