Can the various net feats be used with the Snag Net?
Would a proficiency with Nets give you proficiency with Snag Nets?
Does the Snag Net count as a Net for any other purposes?
It's a net, isn't it? I'd say that's al there is to it.
The net pretty much says outright it uses the exotic weapon prof for nets. So I cannot see why it wouldn't be usable with the feats.

Well, the fact that it does 1 point of piercing damage, and is a melee weapon and a thrown weapon, makes it capable of being enchanted in ways that the common net cannot.
I like it, but wanted to be sure.
Does it count as a god's favored weapon, if their favored weapon is the net?
Can you crit with the Snag Net? If so, what's the multiplier?
Does it count as a piercing weapon for the purposes of feats and abilities?
It has "net" in its name. It's clearly a net. Things that apply to nets apply to it.
From the link BBT provided for the Snag Net:
"A snag net works like a typical net exotic weapon, ..."
So it works like a net.
"except it has the trip weapon special feature."
So it works like a net with trip. That is the difference.
The remainder of the weapon description describes how to use the trip feature. Doing a point of damage can be done on a successful trip combat maneuver in lieu of actually tripping (or can be used to do damage to an already tripped opponent)
