I'm not understanding the usage of this ability. The text says that it can be used for a number of rounds per day equal to your sorcerer level, but then it says that you can use it once per day at 9th level, twice per day at 17th level, and three times per day at 20th level.
Is he intent to be 1, 2, or 3 uses per day, with a number of rounds per each use based on the sorcerer's level? Is there something else that I have missed?

Snow Shroud (Su): "At 9th level, you ignore concealment and Perception penalties in natural or magical snow, ice, fog, and similar weather conditions. In addition, you can surround yourself with a cloak of swirling snow for a number of rounds per day equal to your sorcerer level. This power acts and deals damage as a fire shield (chill shield) that sheds no light. It provides a 20% miss chance on attacks made against you and grants a bonus on Stealth checks equal to 1/2 your sorcerer level in snowy or icy areas. You can use this ability once per day at 9th level, twice per day at 17th, and three times per day at 20th."
You can activate the ability once per day at 9th level, 2@17, 3@20.
When you do activate it, it lasts for a number of rounds equal to your sorcerer level.
That's what I was thinking, but the part that throws me is this:
for a number of rounds per day equal to your sorcerer level
If it didn't have the words "per day," it would easily be interpreted as you suggest.

The per day is how long the activation works. So at level 9 you can activate it once for 9 rounds.

I completely missed that.
I suppose that means technically, each day you have (CL) number of rounds, which can be broken up into X activations.
So at level 17, you have 17 rounds, and two activations. So you can use it once for 9 rounds, then again for 8 rounds, or once for 1 round, then again for 16.
I think it's fairly likely that this is not how it was intended. I would probably say it's supposed to be CL rounds per activation, not per day.
Agreed (with both of you). I think this should be added to the errata for clarity. I'm glad to see that my interpretation (or mis-interpretation) is the same as others.
