Best Class for a Kobold

Advice

Grand Lodge

I'm trying to figure out what the best class for a Kobold would be, but I'm having trouble.

The racial bonus to Dex helps almost everyone on the whole as well as the +1 to Natural Armor and +1 to Armor because of size (for essentially a +3 to Armor), but the -4 to Strength and -2 to Con hurt the melee classes that benefit more from the Armor bonuses. The lack of bonuses to more mental abilities for mental classes doesn't make them the ideal version of that class, just makes them not the worst. The only thing I can really think of is a ranged combatant or maybe a Dex-based Rogue.

Dex Based Ninja.

You would probably make a more Flurry of Stars based character, and Kobolds get nice bonuses to stealth.

Or if you really want to be interesting (though hard to work) you could make the Trapper Ranger.

* Melee Rogue (with or w/o Two-Weapon Fighting)
* Ranged Rogue
* Finesse Magus
* Ranged Ranger
* Gunslinger
* Wizard/Cleric/Sorc/Oracle (stat-dump the physical stats that are getting boosted to gain more points for mental stats)

Rogue, bard, guide urban ranger with skirmisher archetype, Wayfinder 7 has an alchemist archetype (by me) that fits well, polearm fighter with roguish qualities. Their FCO is "sneak attack lite" :)

Divine Minion. lol
