Hi,
I am a pathfinder Society Player/GM. Recently while being a GM at a convention I was awarded a boon to play an Aasamir in Society play. I was thinking that I would play an Oracle in order to play up the holy angle really seriously.
I am going to imitate Sarenrae as closely as I can and attempt to achieve a scimitar wielder with lots of flame damage magic (Oracle of Flame).
Feats will tend towards the wings and dealing damage as best I can, can anyone help me with this?
I would probably wait to create this character until after the 18th when the Blood of Angels book comes out. Like the teifling book before it, that Aasimar book is going to have some additional Oracle content, including new Oracle curses based around holy stuff.
One thing to pay attention to if your Favoured Class Bonus for Aasamir, + Add +1/2 to the
oracle’s level for the purpose
of determining the effects of
one revelation.
Meaning that for one revelation you can get it to effective level 18 in society play which could be very powerful
Or you could be the Avatar of Sarenrae
Form of Flame
at 9th level your rocking Elemental Body IV
Fire elemental: As elemental body I except that you gain a +6 size bonus to your Dexterity, a +4 size bonus to your Constitution, and a +4 natural armor bonus.
You are also immune to bleed damage, critical hits, and sneak attacks while in elemental form and gain DR 5/—.
You gain darkvision 60 feet, resist fire 20, vulnerability to cold, and the burn ability.
It also lasts 13 hours :)
How would one attain That? What is an Avatar of Sarenrae?
Avatar of Sarenrae is just a fluff name I came up with for the idea ;)
If you choose the Form of Flames revelation at 7th level you can apply your +1/2 favoured class bonus to that discovery to level it up to the larger forms faster and have them last long.

Form of Flame (Su): As a standard action, you can assume the form of a Small fire elemental, as elemental body I. At 9th level, you can assume the form of a Medium fire elemental, as elemental body II. At 11th level, you can assume the form of a Large fire elemental, as elemental body III. At 13th level, you can assume the form of a Huge fire elemental, as elemental body IV. You can use this ability once per day, but the duration is 1 hour/level. You must be at least 7th level to select this revelation.

There's also a feat that would let you use this revelation twice per day

I Like the Idea, but becoming a fire Elemental is not what I had in mind. I do however like calling this character the Avatar of Sarenrae.

Wait, wouldn't that be detrimental to you? Are you able to cast spells while in the form of an elemental?
Lvl1: Curse: Tongues
Again, I'd wait until the 18th and get the Blood of Angels book. It might have way more appropriate oracle curses than what's currently available for an Oracle.
... or wait, can you even use content from the Blood of Angels book in PFS?
You are the first person beyond my current d20 group that twisted Aasimar into Aasamir (which they did before I started playing with them).
