Expanded arcana question

Rules Questions

So I was looking over the feat thinking it would be a good way for me to add a spell to my Ninja/Inquisitor's spells know at first level. Imagine my shock when I saw that Inquisitor is not listed the rest of the spontaneous caster.

Is this right?, has there been an errata I missed?, or was it just an over site?

Quote:
Special: You can only take this feat if you possess levels in a class whose spellcasting relies on a limited list of spells known, such as the bard, oracle, and sorcerer. You can gain Expanded Arcana multiple times.

That is not an all inclusive list. "Such as" is there so they won't have to rewrite the feat for any other classes they might come out with or list every PrC that exist. The Red Mantis Assassin would also qualify, but it is not on the list either.

cool thanks I just wanted the feed back....this means my first lvl spells known list will now include True strike, along with the already chosen disguise self & cure light wounds.

No, WS, wait for gaining access to 2nd level spells!

Get 2 first level spells added for the cost of that Feat.

Well, I mean, if you're not completely wedded to having True Strike @ 1st. I just hate to see you trade a Feat for one, lousy, first-level spell...

I agree. True Strike is not that good. It definitely is not worth a feat.

Wraithstrike; yes, not worth a feat. No, it really is a great spell. (Just not worth a feat great.)

Sczarni

True Strike is definitely a useful spell, but I have to agree that it's not worth a feat, especially at level 1.

I will say, I've seen a Magus put it to entertaining use with Spell Combat, however.

point taken .....then any ideas for good feat to take as my 3rd lvl feat for my Ninja(2)/Inquisitor(1).

His feats so for are

    Alertness{human bonus feat}*Dodge{1st lvl feat}*Improved unarmed strike{ninja trick feat}

So far I have tried my best to play him like Garak from Deep Space Nine, I have used the line several times now that I'm just a simple tailor. We are playing in the Jade Regent adventure path.
