Where does the definition of a Class Feature end?

Is the Channel ability that an Oracle who has taken the Life Mystery count as a Class Feature?

Grand Lodge

Yes.

Okay, but does it apply as the Channel Energy class feature for choosing Channeling Feats?

I ask because it is named differently.

Grand Lodge RPG Superstar 2015 Top 32, RPG Superstar 2012 Top 32

It would technically be a different class feature, yes. So if you're playing in PFS or if your GM is averse to houserules, don't expect such feats to work.

However, if you're in a home game with a houserule-friendly GM, I can't imagine him/her having much issue with it if you ask nicely. :)

Yes Deanmail necro'd this.

But I'll use Jiggy's post to copy.

SKR saying a class feature is the same regardless of the name. So channel feats work for class features that are not named the name of the original feature.
