Wayfinders and Ioun stones

my players recently found a wayfinder and have now come across an Ioun stone they wish to put in it.

I know that some pathfinder books cover this but I also one found a website (maybe a part of the PFSRD that covered how to run the possible interactions of wayfinders and ioun stones.

does any one have a link to that website or some other reference i can use without tracking down an obscure book?

The book that covers this is Seeker of Secrets.

I plugged ioun stone into the search box on the SRD, and this is what I came up with: http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic-items/wondrous-items/wondrous-items/h-l/ioun- stones but that doesn't cover interaction with Wayfinders. And the link from there that says it will cover interaction with Wayfinders doesn't, either.

excactly what i found.

i can find out about ioun stones, I can find out about wayfinders, but i cant find out about ioun stones placed in wayfinders.

i know about the book.

but i dont have the book.

and dont want to buy it.

since the Jade Regent AP is where i found the wayfinder (and later where they found the ioun stone) I was hoping there was a way to run it without buying another book for no other reason than satisfying a single magic item.

if thats the ONLY place to find it I will probably just make something up.

I have the book, so if you tell me what type of stone it is, I can tell you the standard interaction. There's also a random interaction table you can use, if you want it to be different for every ioun stone of the same type, instead of using the standard every time.

at this point they have a necrotic stone from Snori Stone eye.

the random table would be good for future finds or any future storylines.

If you don't have access to the rulebook for resonant powers then I'd recommend either making up a power or ruling that nothing happens since there's a 25% chance of that happening anyway.

I don't even see that type of stone in the book. The random chart for resonant powers is 2 pages long, so it would take too long for me to type it in (I have the book in hard copy). I'm with Ansel - if you want to go random, just make something up.

It gives you -25% miss chance when attacking incorporeal targets.
