All,
Are there any feats or archetypes that allow either clerics or druids to replace the ability to spontaneously cast heals or summons with the ability to spontaneously cast domain spells?
I know the Storm Druid can, I just mostly dislike the air and weather domains.
Heck, I would even settle for a feat or archetype that let me memorize my domain spells in my normal slots.
I have this idea for an arson domain druid. It irks me that he can only use his domain spells once per day. It would be fun to be able to drop spells on the fly in exchange for burning hands, fireball, flame strike, etc (rather than summons).
I would then just load him up with all the ice/fire/lightning spells and be a force of nature, but man I wish I could always spontaneously drop a call lightning for a fireball.
Am I out of luck on this one? :)
Thanks!

Not overly aware of anything in Pathfinder, but in 3.5 you definitely could. You gave up your ability to spontaneously cast healing so that you could spontaneously cast from one domain (chosen at 1st level). There was a feat that allowed you to do this as well, and you had a choice of spontaneous heal or use the one domain, but it cost you a turn undead use (so a channel in PF).

Yeah, I was just hoping that Pathfinder had such a thing.
As for Urban Druid, I didnt know they could spontaneously shift to their domain. I will have to check that. However, I know the Fire domain isnt on the Urban Druid domain list.
Too bad. An Urban Druid should totally be allowed to have the Arson domain!
Thanks!

Well, it won't replace the spontaneous casting ability, but it will allow you to spontaneously convert *any* spell slot of an appropriate level into a particular domain spell:
Heighten Spell + Preferred Spell
Or...
Spell Focus + Spell Specialization + Greater Spell Specialization
The advantage of the Spell Specialization chain is that you can change the spell every time you gain the ability to cast a new level of spells.

D'oh! Serves me right for skimming. :-)

Ummm,...what makes you think you CAN'T memorize your domain spells in your normal slots? You add that spell to your spell list. You just can't burn your domain spells for spontaneous healing/summoning and you can't put other spells into your domain slot except for domain spells.
From Domains, in the cleric section...
"If a domain spell is not on the cleric spell list, a cleric can prepare it only in her domain spell slot."

Yeah, none of them are, except flame strike, but its a level higher in the domain. Yuck. But otherwise, I like them, so I was looking for a way to spontaneously convert. Oh well.
Actually, looking closer, its mainly fireball and flame strike I want. I could take the fkre domain, heighten spell, and preferred spell twice (once for fireball, once for flame strike).
I dunno, I will think about it.
Thanks!

Domain Spontaneity
[Divine]
(FoE p147)
(CDiv p80)
Ability to Turn orRebuke Undead
Choose one of your Domains. You may now convert your Prepared Divine spells into a spell from your chosen Domain list of equal or lower level on-the-fly, though each use requires you to also expend a Turn /
Rebuke use.
You may take this feat more than once, each time with a different Domain.
3.5 feat
Works in path finder but the chose to use itis now harder to make due the fact now you turn/channel engery can be use to heal/ harm.
