From the Sorcerer Abberant Bloodline:
Long Limbs (Ex): At 3rd level, your reach increases by 5 feet whenever you are making a melee touch attack. This ability does not otherwise increase your threatened area. At 11th level, this bonus to your reach increases to 10 feet. At 17th level, this bonus to your reach increases to 15 feet.
Is it possible to use this power to improve things like climbing or acrobatics chances? I would imagine stretching your arms to reach a second story window would greatly improve your climbing abilities.
BUT
The power specifically states it is only in affect when making a touch attack.
ALSO
What would you rule for a player who wanted to use the power to stretch their legs to run faster or stand taller?

It's only useful for touching things and nothing else. You could use it for flavor, but not mechanical benefit otherwise. ex: player makes a great climb check you could say that his limbs stretched to help. Player casts Expedious retreat, you could say his legs lengthen allowing him to make great strides with little effort. Etc.

I would allow a bonus to climb (+2) but not run, since the duration is not long enough and I don't believe long legs actually help. it would take a use per roll.
My own opinion, In combat only abilities are stupid. Even a sword can do other things, like sunder, intimidate or jam a door. It breaks immersion to say it doesn't work.
But TCG is correct rules say no.

I'm 6'4" and every short person I walk with asks me to slow down.
IMHO length of stride makes a noticeable difference.
I'm 6'5" and have no problems. Being taller makes me right :) but I'm willing to admit I've no proof except a google search and believing gym teachers.

A net is a ranged weapon, using it to make a melee attack is like using a sling to make a melee attack, either not possible (GM's whim) or an improvised weapon with terrible stats. Either way, there's no touch attack happening.
Nets are ranged touch attacks. With Net Adept, nets are one-handed melee reach weapons, and therefore melee touch attacks. So, there you go. An abberant sorcerer can use a net with this ability and that feat to net people from as far as 30ft away. Why would you want to do that, though? Who knows?

The ability increases your reach by 5, 10, and 15ft. Normally, you can attack things 5ft away from you, right?

Whoops, I was focusing on "increases to" rather than "this bonus."
Here's a question: When using the net (via reach) beyond the normal 10' limit, what happens with the rope? Using Long Limbs or Lunge, the bonus to your reach ends after your turn (or after the attack). Do you drop the rope? Do you drag the target back towards you? Is the rope inexplicably longer?

As ridiculous as this long limbs/net scenario is in the first place, I suppose I started it, so I will entertain your question. =D
The simplest answer is that you would drop the rope. Nothing else makes sense within the rules. You wouldn't be able to pull them toward you at all, I don't think. The best case in this scenario is to reach up to 20ft, net someone within 10ft of that space, then drop the rope if you manage to net them. This doesn't sound like something a sorcerer should be doing at all, but I'd still like to witness this battle.
