Splash damage

Rules Questions

"Splash damage from an alchemist bomb is always equal to the bomb’s minimum damage (so if the bomb would deal 2d6+4 points of fire damage on a direct hit, its splash damage would be 6 points of fire damage)."

I know I'm over analyzing this seemly easy to understand statement.

But I'm confused on how to calculate minimum damage. Is it by how many dice you roll plus your int mod? so a 1d6+4 would be 5 splash damage?

Yep. It is the lowest possible roll + modifiers. Baring some weird discovery that made all rolled 1s into 2s or something, adding the dice to the modifier will work.

Grand Lodge

Don't forget point blank shot damage!

how about point blank shot does that +1 go to splash as well.

Shadow Lodge

Does point blank shot increase the minimum damage? sure does.

Anything that adds +weapon damage should apply to bomb damage and thus splash damage.

Inspire courage, flagbearer, mindlessly cruel, just off the top of my head.
