Magus and casting multiple spells in one round.

Rules Questions

As the magus ability Spell Combat and Spell-strike reads,

( Instead of the free melee touch attack normally allowed to deliver the spell, a magus can make one free melee attack with his weapon (at his highest base attack bonus) as part of casting this spell. If successful, this melee attack deals its normal damage as well as the effects of the spell. If successful, this melee attack deals its normal damage as well as the effects of the spell. If the magus makes this attack in concert with spell combat, this melee attack takes all the penalties accrued by spell combat melee attacks.)

Lets say I have a lvl 3 Magus, so with my BAB I get 2 attacks, with spell combat, I can cast a spell as an offhand weapon.

The way I read it, I can cast magic missile as my offhand weapon, then swing my sword and cast shocking grasp using the spell-strike ability with a -2 penalty, Is that correct. If not why?

Spellstrike doesn't let you cast any spells. It's just a different option for how to deliver some spells.

The way I read it is: you can cast a single spell. You can deliver it either by touch or by weapon. That is all. No second spell is even mentioned. And any "held" spells are lost when you cast a new spell, so you can't hold a spell like Chill Touch, cast another the next round, deliver it through your sword, then do a Chill Touch with offhand... because its lost (and because you don't technically have to do it "offhand" on a second attack anyway, it would be a second attack). Now, you may deliver the Chill Touch (or other held spell) and then CAST A SINGLE SPELL as your second attack action, delivering it either way you want (if doing a full round attack). I presume you meant level 13, not 3.

oh, i didnt read a very important part, thanks for the help.
