Summoned creature possessions

What happens to a summoned creature's possessions when the summoning finishes (for example an Erinyes' +1 longsword and flaming bow)?

Do they disappear with it?

Richard

Yes.

I suspected the items might return with the end of the summons, as spells cease to function. So, no continual light items and so on. But where exactly does it say in the rules that the items vanish when the summons end? I cannot find anything written on this.

continual light on another item would remain, though.

It would? So the spells ending when the summoned creature leaves only applies to timed, not permanent spells?

Again, can you point me to written rules about such?

Anyone?

No, continual light would also expire.

PRD sez: "When the spell that summoned a creature ends and the creature disappears, all the spells it has cast expire. A summoned creature cannot use any innate summoning abilities it may have."
