Gaining amphibious

Rules Questions

Just a quick double check. If my character becomes amphibious dose that allow him to breath water?

Thanks!

The amphibious property allows aquatic creatures to survive on land. Now if you have the aquatic subtype you can beathe water.

Amphibious (Ex) Creatures with this special quality have the aquatic subtype, but they can survive indefinitely on land.

So if you're amphibious, you therefore have the aquatic subtype...

Aquatic Subtype: These creatures always have swim speeds and can move in water without making Swim checks. An aquatic creature can breathe water.

Having said aquatic subtype allows you to breathe water.

Therefore, yes, becoming amphibious does allow you to breathe water... (working under the assumption that when you say you're character has become amphibious, that you mean they have gained the aquatic subtype)

At least as it appears to be written, it is so =)
