Looking for advice and ideas for making 3rd level Anti-Paladin

Advice

hey guys i recently made a 3rd level hell born tiefling (+2 strength, +2 cha, -2 int) Anti-paladin and im looking to see if anyone can give me some ideas for improving him or some future ideas for him such as like feats, cross classing or prestige classing. also i am unaware if there are any supplementary rules for the anti-paladin in any other books like all the other classes so it would be nice to know about those as well if they exist.

right now he has a 17 str, 12 dex, 14 con, 13 int, 12 wis, 20 cha he has 2 feats: power attack and cleave. i plan later when he gains channeling to command undead because he worships Orcus, he wields a +1 great sword and is wearing fullplate.

any of the stuff i have listed can be changed as we haven't really done much with our game so far so i was wondering if you guys had any better ideas like i was playing with the idea of a shield but i didn't know if i wanted to sacrifice damage for more armor with an AC of 20 right now because the great sword has 2d6 19-20 crit which is really nice, but if you guys got some better ideas i would love to hear them

Thanks a bunch :)

Avoid cleave, it's a trap feat.

Cleave is great but I'd only take it as fighter so I could train it out at higher level. I find Cleave is very nice from 1st to 10th level. So I'd train it out at 12th for something else. For other classes Cleave is nice but you are stuck with it at higher levels where it not as useful.

Drop the Cleave feat and take Furious Focus instead. As an Anti-Paladin you chance to use Smite Good don't come up anywhere near as often as they do with Paladin. So getting no penalty for Power attack on your first attack is good.

Agreed with BBT and voska66. The adjacency requirement really kills its viability, along with being a Standard Action.

You could always take Exotic Weapon Prof: Falcata so you can use the most ridiculous weapon in the game.

First, I suggest hellknight plate. Second, I suggest looking into ways to gain more attacks, for more smite.

You could go the mounted combat route. At level ffive your fiendish servant would be a decent mount, and meanwhile you can flog horses to death or something

Consider Dazzling Display and intimidating people into compliance.

Grab the Unsanctioned Knowledge feat to gain a spell that will gain you natural weapons, like alter self.

hey guys thanks for the suggestions so far. blackbloodtroll i agree that i need to drop the cleave, i wasn't so sure about it in the firs place, im not sure about hellknight plate, from what i recal its just fullplate with a few less penalties unless your a hellknight then its really good, but i cant be a hellknight because you have to be lawful and paladins have to be chaotic i believe if im not mistaken . voska66 furious focus is a good feat i have used it before but i hadn't thought about it. tonyz i had thought about the mounted combat, but based on the setting we are in i dont know how often it would come up though we will see so ill keep it in mind.

also ya Serisan the falcata is nice, ill keep that mind

Paladin/Antipaladin Stuff.

You don't need to be a hellknight, to have hellknight plate. Lessened penalties are always welcomed.
