Hey guys i'm about to make a rouge for a game, I was looking at the knife master and I liked the Idea of having hidden blades that I would quick draw to do my sneak attacks but I cant give up my trap finding skills because i'm going to be my party's trap detector. The Dm is being a bit strict with the class roster so I am stuck to doing a rouge not a ninja, we will be level 3 and i was thinking about duel wielding. the only real downside I see to not specifically doing the knife master is I don't get the d8s for the sneak attacks but other than that I have a feeling the concept will still work. Main thing I am aiming to do is be able to deal as many sneak attacks as I possibly can in the shortest amount of time possible. Any ideas or advice would be appreciated. Thanks :)
hey guys quick question, i haven't used disguise self since 3.5 and i cant tell but i think it has changed. it says "You make yourself—including clothing, armor, weapons, and equipment—look different. You can seem 1 foot shorter or taller, thin, fat, or in between. You cannot change your creature type (although you can appear as another subtype). Otherwise, the extent of the apparent change is up to you. You could add or obscure a minor feature or look like an entirely different person or gender." now it says "You cannot change your creature type (although you can appear as another subtype)" does that mean if i was a human i can only change into subtypes of human like half elf? or can i change into something like an orc or something (i know i cant be a creature i got that) but i cant tell 100% from there wording weather like 3.5 you can turn into the other races or not as long as they are withing your high alteration range.
hey guys thanks for the suggestions so far. blackbloodtroll i agree that i need to drop the cleave, i wasn't so sure about it in the firs place, im not sure about hellknight plate, from what i recal its just fullplate with a few less penalties unless your a hellknight then its really good, but i cant be a hellknight because you have to be lawful and paladins have to be chaotic i believe if im not mistaken . voska66 furious focus is a good feat i have used it before but i hadn't thought about it. tonyz i had thought about the mounted combat, but based on the setting we are in i dont know how often it would come up though we will see so ill keep it in mind.
hey guys i recently made a 3rd level hell born tiefling (+2 strength, +2 cha, -2 int) Anti-paladin and im looking to see if anyone can give me some ideas for improving him or some future ideas for him such as like feats, cross classing or prestige classing. also i am unaware if there are any supplementary rules for the anti-paladin in any other books like all the other classes so it would be nice to know about those as well if they exist. right now he has a 17 str, 12 dex, 14 con, 13 int, 12 wis, 20 cha he has 2 feats: power attack and cleave. i plan later when he gains channeling to command undead because he worships Orcus, he wields a +1 great sword and is wearing fullplate. any of the stuff i have listed can be changed as we haven't really done much with our game so far so i was wondering if you guys had any better ideas like i was playing with the idea of a shield but i didn't know if i wanted to sacrifice damage for more armor with an AC of 20 right now because the great sword has 2d6 19-20 crit which is really nice, but if you guys got some better ideas i would love to hear them Thanks a bunch :)
Blueluck: ya im planning on being a wizard, i would do a magus, but we already got one in the party, but i have seen the wand mastery before and it is nice. Adamantine Dragon: i agree my biggest problem will be the cost, we got a group pool of money so im sure that could get me a few wands, im also curious if you would know something else; there is a trait called magical lineage which allows you to lower the level adjustment of a selected spell by 1 when applying metamagic feats to the spell, im curious if that would come into play during the creation of the wand as well?
hye guys, im working on some ideas for a new character, and i was curious about making a wand slinger. Now obviously theres a few feats that seem to be a good idea off the bat like quick draw, craft wand and other such things (though my characters only level 3 so it will be a bit before i can make my own)but im wondering about any other things that may be useful that i cant really think of. like do i need 2 weapon fighting if i want to wield 2 wands? are there any feats or ability's out in pathfinder or 3.5 that are good for wielding 2 wands? is it possible to cast normal spells while wielding 2 wands? can you apply meta magic feats to wands in there creation or apply them after? any traits that go good with a wand wielder? any ideas or info would be fantastic.

Thanks leo ill check that out :)
Hey guys so i'm working on a new character right now, a third level wizard specializing in evocation, though I still want him to be a competent at other things like protection as my character has about 26 hit points. My characters stats are as follow:
All the racial stats are already added in (if you think i should change the race i'm not set on elf). I am third level, I need to figure out a good build for the character; feats, useful spells, 2 traits (more if you can think of them, except orphan). For the most part can use any of the pathfinder books and I can use stuff from 3.5 with approval from the DM (so like feats and maybe some spells as well if you can think of any useful ones). I am looking to find good build ideas not just for level 3 but long term as well. Thanks a bunch guys, if i didn't consider something let me know (i haven't ever really played a wizard in Pathfinder, i always played in 3.5 so not sure if i'm missing anything i should keep an eye out for) |
