How do I purchase tickets for other events when Paizo is covering my badge? The GenCon website says that my registration doesn't allow purchasing tickets.

Dang, customer service never got back to me past "huh, that seems weird". I was really hoping to get to play in the Kobold Special.

Buy generics when you get on site. Usually not a problem getting into the game. :)
Get there *early* before your slot if possible, though, and work really quickly on getting a group together or getting together with a group. The faster your group is mustered, the faster it will sit. (Under normal circumstances, this kobold pregen one has me curious how it is going to work, since we're effectively going in 'blind')

I believe they don't sit generic tickets until 15 minutes into the slot. For the specials, for the past few years they have had a police of real tickets only. That said, when I looked this morning, True Dragons and Serpents Rise both have real tickets available.

I have not received notice about my GenCon replacement badge. When did you hear about those?
