Advice

Right now my character is a rather low level, however in the REALLY long run, I hope to accomplish to goal of being a god of my own plane.

This is what I have devised thus far:
A. Create Greater Plane that is timeless in respect to magic.
B. Ring of sustenance so I never grow hungry.
C. Time Stop
D. Gain a method to completely halt the aging process.

Through this, I would be able to continually change and alter the plane that I have created, being able to spectate everything in it at essentially the speed of light in comparison to all others who are within my plane. Because I would never need to eat, and never age, I could remain in the plane for as long as needed, even perhaps for all eternity.

This said, there are a couple of things I still need to address and ponder about.

A. What would be the best way to reach a method of stopping the aging process? I know there is the level 20 magus of time mystery that halts the aging process, as well as the alchemists Grand Discovery of Eternal Youth. What other options are there and which would likely be the greatest for a person who is planning on going into an arcana bloodline with (so far in the thinking process) a one level dab into spellslinger?

B. What possible threats may pose an issue for such an ideal? Is there anything a person may be able to do that would ultimately destroy my entire plane with something I cannot react to?

C. If I wished to traverse to other planes without actually leaving my own plane, what would probably be the best method of doing so? Although Astral Projection seems like a suitable choice, the incorporeal silver cord has me a tad worried.

D. If I acquire new materials, gear, ect. using Astral Projection, would the wisest option be to teleport these materials to the Plane I have created, leave them beside a gate to my plane at which point I would recast Time Stop before going through the gate, acquire the items, and then return to my timeless in relation to magic realm, or through some other means?

E. Am I being too devious, and would eventually become more along the lines of a final boss in a future campaign if my GM deems me too strong?

A. A extremely well worded wish with a nice DM would be your best bet, maybe from a deck of many things or a genie?

B. Adventurers.

C. What books do you have access to, and does your DM allow 3.5 content?

D. Don't know, I would just take he leadership feat and have my cohort take care of things like that.

E. Yes.

Possibly... Wouldn't hold my breath on the wish though. Already pushing some thin lines on Timeless plane with Time Stop.

Considering that Time Stop in a Timeless plane in relation to magic allows me to move at light speed and react that fast as well, what exactly would an adventure posses that would be an issue other than some ridiculous anti-magic device that covers the entire plane? Then again, I am being pretty ridiculous myself...

My DM mostly stays in line with the Pathfinder Core Rule book, advanced, and the master of magic and master of combat books, although he is willing to extend it further when a person researches more. He tends to award players who do extensive research on the ins and outs of the game.

Fair enough. If I am going to be a godlike being, might as well have some followers.

Figured as much. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't my imagination.

Two things. Anything you can do, adventures can. Also, timestop doesn't work that way on a timeless plane. It just works for that many rounds, not the amount of time those rounds are equivalent to.

Check the Time section in regards to the wording on Timeless. Time Stop is not a instantaneous spell, and thus would last for as long as I was in that plane or until Time Stop was dispelled.

As a result, and the fact that to use Time Stop requires verbal components, the likelihood of me being able to determine the spell they were casting at what is apparently an extremely slow speed to me on a spellcraft check is fairly simple, and thus I could counterspell before they even attempt to do so while still retaining the speed of time stop.

That's been specifically addressed before. It doesn't work that way. That's why it says apparent.

The Exchange

20th level wizard ability immortality. theres D
if you are going to be a god just take craft wonderous item and create an item of coninual time stop and wear it. now just create a demi plane and go there with your "hourglass of infinite time flow" and enjoy being immortal on a plane where time never moves.
create clones to travel the other planes for you.

20th level wizard, definitely feasible in the long run.

Was already planning on taking craft wondrous item, however I was unaware you could make a device of continual time stop.

The clones could definitely work, and also helps solve the issue of bringing things back to my plane that I create.

Just a note on why adventurer's pose a problem:
1) Adventurer finds out where your demiplane actually exists (astral or ethereal plane)
2) Adventurer goes to the edge of the plane. Casts anti-magic shell.
3) Adventurer walks onto your plane which has timeless magic so his shell never ends.
4) He goes looking for you with sharp pointy metal stick
5) Your timestop gives you infinite rounds where you cannot in anyway affect the person in the shell.
6) Adventurers wander around the plane breaking all your stuff until you show up.
7) When you show up, second adventurer steps out of anti-magic shell and counters your next timestop.
8) First adventurer puts pointy metal stick in your soft wizardly flesh.

Now that that has been cleared up. I recommend golems.
