Hey guys and girls. In case you hadn't heard, and most of you probably haven't, Maxim is doing a "Maxim Gamer Girl" contest right now. Basically looking for cute "nerd" girls, mostly girls who play video games and such. Well one of my Pathfinder players is the beautiful Kitty Martini (not her real name), a pin up artist, avid video game and pen and paper player, and founder of her own blog Gaming in Your Underwear. "A website devoted to random bits of nerdity, sexy fun photography, video game/movie reviews, and the occasional cute thing." -Kitty Martini
So basically I'm asking all my Pathfinders companions out there to help a fellow gamer. All you have to do is go to Maxim Gamer Girls (link will take you strait to Kitty's page. SO EASY!) make a quick profile (takes seconds and you can tell them to e-mail you nothing by un-checking all the boxes) and help our Pathfinder Pin Up Girl.
Thanks Everyone! Happy Gaming!
P.S.: Here is the picture she's submitted! Pin Up Nerd

Thanks for the support so far guys! Kitty has also added her video submission to her blog as well. If you're interested in checking it out it's on Gaming in Your Underwear. Just look for the girl on the bed with the giant dinosaur plush!
Keep up the Aid Another! The bonuses stack!

She's cute in that "Oh, just want to pinch her face" kind of way. I would say cheeks but someone would take it the wrong way.
Question: Does she model as a career thing or just a hobby thing?
Thank you all so much!!! I really just did this as a silly thing, but I appreciate all the votes. ^_^
As for your question, both, actually. It started as a hobby, but now I use it for my blog and burlesque. I'm a graduate student studying the history of burlesque and I'm using my experiences as part of my research.
Thank you all again! *BIG HUG*

The history of Burlesque is a subject you can get a degree in... I don't know what to make of that....

Well, it's history that I am getting a degree in, but my master's thesis is on the study of burlesque. Hopefully it will also be my doctoral thesis!

Interesting. In Columbus, Ohio, we have a very thriving burlesque community and I imagine some of them would be tickled to know that someone's doing their master's thesis on the history / study of burlesque. The troupe styles range / varies depending on their niche and/or how risque they want to push it. Some keep it simple as belly dancing while others push buttons with their explicitness. I know one group that embraces slasher horror in their troupe.
Is your act solo or do you perform as part of a troupe?

You know, I've heard that before. I think one of my followers has a wife who performs there, at least that sounds familiar. It's great though, there is a huge revival going on right now and it's fantastic for research!
As for me, I'm solo, but I'm also still learning. Sadly it takes a lot of hours and practice that with my current schedule I can't devote as much time to as I like. I'm hoping the summer will free up more time for me, but so far my burlesque career has stayed to shoots and networking with other dancers. Basically, once I get my butt on stage I'll be very set, but until then I'm under piles of books and research. :p

Gonna have to respectfully disagree Jiggy, every poster on this would have had somewhere at the back of their mind that thread might just trigger a few such objections, this is the internetz after all and that sentiment rages frequently (and currently) on these very boards, all I have done is be the first to draw the battle line rather than cede them the initiative.

Shifty |

who did you vote for?
Dunno.
Its a tough one.
A lot sort of talk about being a console gamer etc, yet very few are posting 'proof of life' photos with them actually playing the game or surrounded by the hobby. I reckon actually being photographed WITH the gaming/geek evidence holds a lot of cred.

Well I approve of this thread.
Now I wait with enthusiasm for the first whiner to come in as a Quixotic Internet White Knight and start whining about objectification or judging or any of that pther namby pamby panty-waisted whinehard stuff I see spouted on 'hot or not' conversations on the boards.
I am disappointed by either your narrow vocabulary or inability to register a sardonic tone.
Either way, I am disappointed.
I am also disappointed by your decision to cruelly cariacature anyone who disagrees with you. Why did you make such a decision?

I figured the same which is why I went with Martini since we knew her to be a Pathfinder player.

Either way, I am disappointed.
I am shattered, pleasing you was so high on my Bucket list. I am now beside myself with grief at how I am to ever redress such a profound blow to what was to be my crowning life achievement.
In order to fix the vocab issue I will contemplate eating a thesaurus. I don't mean to make a fuss or anything, but your post didn't really set a new benchmark in prose either, so perhaps I'll put a few pages aside for you too.

Once again, your disappointment strikes a deep chord within my soul, but consider that it might be necessary to lampoon the nay sayers early for they always initiate the attack via surprise, and invariably move in with their labelling and haterade - best we lampoon them before they arrive so their bluster is seen as comedy.
I can only assume you were hoping to launch such an attack, and thus your disappointment at being banjaxed.
Now if we are done here, there are hot women to talk about.

Sorcerous was epic, i'm a curve and... ahem mountain man at heart. Sadly she was on a battle mat. Twister anyone. ;)
Urizen - Well played good sir!
I'm definitely going to vote. xD too bad I don't have a ring I could recharge it with with that well built lantern.
