1) What happens if you cast Awaken on a tree that is also currently under the effects of Liveoak (that you also cast)? Does it remain a treeant after Liveoak runs out since it is now permanently awake? What happens if you cast Awaken on a treeant made from a Changestaff?
2) The spell description for awaken states "The awakened animal or tree is friendly toward you." Does this mean the spell can be cast offensively to "convert" wild animals or guard dogs or even an assassin vine mid way through chomping through an ally?

The 24 hour casting time would put a crimp on most of this.
You cannot do it.
Awaken can only be cast on a normal tree or an animal.
Both Liveoak and Changestaff creates a treant, which is a plant creature, thus not a valid target of Awaken.
In the case of Liveoak, you can cast awaken after the liveoak spell ends.
You don't want to awaken the tree anyway. Commune with Nature and find a Roc to awaken.
