Adventure path side adventures

I was wondering if there will be any side adventures in upcoming adventure paths. I found this to be a nice way of leveling up characters when they just needed a few extra xp and it was obviously an easy tie-in to the path.

I would say it is unlikely. James Jacobs has mentioned a few times that the old "Set Piece" side adventures weren't popular and a bit too much work.

Bummer, I really liked them. Ah, well means I have to get my creative juices flowing.

I don't have a lot of experience with adventure paths. I have the first Carrion Crown book, though, and at the end of the book there are quite a few monsters that aren't used in the adventure. If I need extra material, I plan to build some extra encounters or quests using these. Also, there is a random encounter chart, and you could take one or a few of the more interesting ones and build something around that.
