do Wildblooded (Archetype) or Crossblooded (Archetype) Ifrits still get there Elemental Affinity if they pick Primal for Wildblooded or Elemental Fire as one of the Bloodlines for Crossblooded?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

If you pick Elemental (fire) as one of the bloodlines for Crossblooded, yes.

That's straight RAW--your crossblooded sorcerer is a sorcerer "with" the elemental (fire) bloodline (and one other, and 1 less spell known per level, and -2 will saves--it balances out).

Wildblooded Primal is going to be YMMV; some GMs will say the wildblooded bloodlines are "separate" bloodlines (i.e. Primal (fire) is not Elemental (fire) so no go on the Ifrit ability) while others will say that the wildblooded bloodlines merely modify an existing bloodline that you already have (and so Primal (fire) is subsumed within elemental (fire) and you're golden as an Ifrit.)

Glad this is the only thread I can find regarding the various Elemental "Affinity"s and the Wildblooded Primal question I was going to ask. How does this work for PFS?

Yes you can Pick Primal Bloodline and gain the benefit of the (Insert Element) Affinity

No you can't Pick Primal Bloodline and gain the benefit of the (Insert Element) Affinity

Silver Crusade

I guess because The Elemental Races are so limited no one cares.

Considering the PFS ruling that the linnorm bloodline doesn't count as draconic, I believe not.

I searched Mike Brock's posts, because I remembered him saying something about draconic sorcerers.
