I have a question about attacks of oppertunity with a reach weapon and a sneak attack.
If you fight with a reach weapon and someone comes up to you to make a sneak attack (because you aren't aware that that person is in the fight). Are you able to make a AoO when that person leaves your threatend square to enter the square near you to stab you?
it seems wierd that you would be able to make an AoO while you get sneak attacked because you are still considered flatfooted

If you are flat-footed you cannot take an AoO unless you have Combat Reflexes.
There aren't really rules about being unaware of someone. If you assume that you can't see them, basically equating stealth with invisibility/blindness, then that grants them total concealment.
You can't execute an attack of opportunity against an opponent with total concealment, even if you know what square or squares the opponent occupies.

You can't make AoOs when flat-footed.
Flat-Footed: A character who has not yet acted during a combat is flat-footed, unable to react normally to the situation. A flat-footed character loses his Dexterity bonus to AC (if any) and cannot make attacks of opportunity.

You would need Combat Reflexes or some way to not be flat-footed (such as Uncanny Dodge), but would otherwise not be able to take that AoO.
Taking an AoO this way doesn't really bother me. To me it's like catching something that started falling: You don't really recognize it is falling until you're already part way through the act of catching it.
EDIT: Ninja'd by Grick. And Grick even included the total concealment bit! Blast!
