Speedup revelations for lame Oracles... huh?

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

Quite some time ago, it was ruled that the lame curse of an oracle should not be easily circumvented by a mere revelation like Cinder Dance.
In fact, this was incorporated into the later editions of the APG, barring lame Oracles of Flame from learning it entirely.

With UM, new shiny mysteries came out, including Metal.
Which includes the revelation Dance of the Blades.
Which does the exact same thing as the (banned for lame oracles) Cinder Dance in regards of movement.
Which is not flagged as a no-no for lame Oracles of Metal.

Umm... is it just me, or is the logic behind this design a tad... obscure?

Yes, that could have been designed/written better. Barring any specifications from TPTB, I'm ruling that any speed-increasing revelation is off-limits to lame Oracles.

Yeah, it seems like an oversight to me, but I guess as is, Lame dwarf oracles of metal can be faster than regular dwarves.
