With one module coming to a close and another midway through I've decided I want to go bigger and try my hand at running a more long term game but I am torn as to what I want to run. My choices are:
Curse of the Crimson Throne
Legacy of Fire
Or a homebrew I have been working on for sometime that is set and Galorian in the future that will be a mash up of gritty fantasy, some pulp action, horror, and all things lovecraftian.
So what interests you more?

between the two, I'd point to CotCT because of availability of the player's handbook. For instance, it's free on CotCT but the legacy of fire one is part of a gazesetter for Katapesh so it isn't free.
However, both campaigns are based on 3.5 and not pathfinderised, however there are monsters and NPCs published online that are converted for pathfinder on d20pfsrd to help anyone who runs a old paizo AP.
Could always try a newer AP, read through both and see what one you perfer.

I have read through both, actually all, converted what I need and will be running under the pathfinder ruleset. The reason I am choosing those two is the build up/end boss. I love the way LoF ends.
I see. I've been making some bosses for after the end of CotCT.
Making some bosses that possess the other artifacts of Kazavon as one of the suggestions is the holders of the other relecs feel a pull to go there as the PCs managed to destroy or liberate one of the relics.
So far I've made the Frost Giant who found the Armour of Skulls and am working on someone who found the Bound Blade. The story behind the second one was that it was a choker that found it, but when you're about level 17 I don't think a choker is going to be awefully scarey, no matter how big and badassed his sword is, so I've placed it in the hands of a Drow Noble Fighter, whom I'm thinking of turning into a dread vampire, or might just leave as a level 20 fighter.
Between the two, I again have to say CotCT since the player's guide is far more available and it's easier for player's to make a character when they can look in the player's guide and mull over what hte city is like and what kind of character they can make.
You could do what I did, which was allow the players to be creative with their backgrounds that involved the traits, which allowed me to be creative at how they all get their messages.
For Lovecraftian I'd say go with Carrion Crown or atleast get the carrion crown APs for beasts that appear in there which are lovecraftian both in nature, look and name.

I appreciate the suggestions on the CotCT continuation.
I've read through CC and have used it for what I use most of the APs and thats for ideas/monsters/building layouts/settings/etc. I just don't feel like the seem complete for me and what I want as written and I feel like I can do more justice to a story with the characters coming from my head. CC had great elements but parts just seemed thrown together at times. This is why I am leaning towards a home brew.
Plus I can add the dreamlands in when I want <evil grin>

guns are okay. If I run an AP it will be as per standard (Exotic WP) if my homebrew they will be common place (Martial or Simple).
In case any one is wondering I have 22 years of RP experience. In many systems including call of cthulhu, vampire, werewolf, cthulhutech, shadowrun, cyberpunk, etc. etc. etc.

So, DaWay, we meet again... I'm playing Ghlurb in Goblins, and Aidan in Storm in Isger. I'm here to vote for CotCT, as I've not played it at all... I'm currently playing a RL Jade Regent with Kaz56, and I'd also like to endorse him as a player, haha. If you choose to play CotCT, I'd like to play... a strix. Wait! Hear my pitch! Stormfury has adopted a name of those most hated pale-crawlers- the humans. Known locally as simply Kalf, the disguised and heavily-robed strix was exiled from Devils Perch for his love of the ground crawler Serena. Though his tryst with the explorer was short, so are the lives of strix- when exiled, he went to Korvosa to find her. Though he found her, all was not well- when he arrived, she was already dead. Or was she? His memory of the day is black and hazy, unfocused. Accused of murder by a local, Stormfury had no choice but to go into hiding while he looked for the man that could tell him what really happened that day- Gaedren.
Trait: Love Lost: Widowed.
If you play LoF, I'll just stick with your JR game, as I've some nifty ideas for that too!

Here is my concept for a Qlippoth-Spawn Tiefling(1) Cultist of the Great Evil Beyond the Stars. (Or whatever Lovecraftian entity you have in mind for your homebrew.) I decided to go with a divine spellcaster instead of an arcane spellcaster, though, so probably a cleric (Evangelist if allowed). Domains: Void (Dark Tapestry), War (Blood).
Alignment: Although most would consider Xzavier chaotic evil, I'd say the way he plays would be more akin to neutral evil. He doesn't go around murdering villages of innocents (unless the Great Evil tells him to), or otherwise harm, kill, maim, or injure. Nor does he steal often. He actually has a quite lawful view of the Cosmos, just in service to his dark entity.
Young Childhood From an early age, Xzavier has felt the call of Chaos. Perhaps from his monstrous parent(s). It is uncertain how specifically his mother became pregnant with him, but most say it was the result of a dark ritual of pain, torture, and madness. Xzavier has never known specifically. He was raised by cultists, always assuming that he would be one himself.
Adolescence At the onset of mobility, skill, and mature intellect, Xzavier was selected as one of the far ranging scouts for the evil cult. Both to search for its enemies, and for secret knowledge of the Ones Beyond.
Young Adulthood His time away from the cult has affected his development. Xzavier has begun to show an independent streak, and acts less in accordance with the cult's teachings, and more with a comprehensive understanding of the current situation. It does not, however, prevent his devotion.
Xzavier is intent upon training his mind for the benefit of those who serve the Ones Beyond. He researches the arcane, the mystic, and the religious in every attempt to find relics and artifacts the cult can use. He considers himself a developing master of the knowledge he has already thus acquired. If he is Chaotic in Alignment, it has no influence on how he treats others, unless they should stand in his way. He seems to serve an order of law, even if that law is to ultimately serve a chaotic entity.

Hello again DaWay, long time no read. I would like to propose a character who is to say the least, out of his mind. Sha 'an is my personal rendition of the mad hatter. Utterly mad from prolonged exposure Yo the great beyond, Sha 'an returned to Golarion with a shattered psyche and new found abilities granted to him by the unknown forces encountered in between the stars.
