When a class has an SLA, but no effective spell level is indicated how is the level determined?
I am not really asking this for debate purposes. Due to the way SLA's work with the concentration rules they should have assigned levels. They however are not printed in the books. I am basically asking everyone to FAQ this so they either go back and assign levels or give an official way to determine what the level should be. I figured this would be fixed by now.
edit:AFAIK all the monsters have the effective spell level listed by their SLA's if they don't duplicate a spell.

It seems another wise fellow has an answer.
"If a character class grants a spell-like ability that is not based on an actual spell, the ability's effective spell level is equal to the highest-level class spell the character can cast, and is cast at the class level the ability is granted."
We can let this thread die now unless someone disputes the power of the CRB.

Looks like Quicken SLA is off the table for those abilities then.

Necro'd! Which is appropriate, because I'm asking for some clarification for my necromancer sorcerer.
So, I just want to make sure I'm getting this right:
-My sorcerer uses the Bloodline Power she gained at 1st level: Grave Touch (Sp).
-Let's assume she is level 4, and so can cast as high as 2nd level spells.
-This means that when she uses Grave Touch, it counts as a 2nd level spell (which will increase as she learns higher level spells), with an effective Caster Level of 1 (which will not change, because it is the level she gained the ability).
Am I interpreting this right?

No. The level of the SLA stays the same. It will always count as a first level spell.
However the caster level will change as you level up to whatever your current sorcerer level is.
edit: To clarify the highest level spell you can cast when you gain an SLA is the spell level it will count as. So if you gain it at level 1 then it would be a level 1 SLA and never change.
If you gain another SLA at level 8 then the new SLA will count as a level 4 spell since sorcerers can cast level 4 spells.
