summoners spell list

The Advanced Players Guide says a summoner has to choose spells from the summoner spell list. Can they also choose from the wizard spell list?

I'm confused because the summoner eventually can learn 6 level 1 spells (for example) but there are not 6 spells on the summoner list forms any level.

There are 24 1st level spells on the summoner list in the APG.

Derp...i was just looking in the Spells chapter. It just list the spells that are new to the APG.
