Does anyone know why there are only 20 bases to go with the 80 figures. Won't the bases start having problems after being yanked off several times and put onto new minis? They certainly crimp the bottom of the figure when you put them on, and regardless I find it inconvenient to keep pulling the bases off and put them on a different figure.
I would have paid the extra $1 to get more than one baggy of bases. Anyone know where I can purchase bases that would work with these figures?

I believe Paizo stated in another post that people normally don't have 20 figures on a map at any one time (especially for the Beginner's Box); therefore only 20 bases were included.
I also think Paizo mentioned they would be selling additional bases, but I am sure somebody will be along to say for certain if that is the case.

Haha, when I said "somebody", I meant another forum poster. But true to Paizo's standard of communicating with their customers, Erik Mona himself verified that more bases will be sold. Thanks, Erik!
EDIT: I found where Paizo stated most people will not normally have more than 20 figures on a flipmat at once. It was in the Beginner Box video here: http://paizo.com/beginnerbox

That's great! While I can agree that there usually won't be more than 20 figures on a flipmat, I don't like having to spend the time when I'm placing them to figure out which figures I can pull them off of and put them on the ones I'm going to use. Plus, like I mentioned, it leaves marks on the pawns when you pull them off, and I recall quite vividly how "well" that works out with board games (which is to say, not very).
I've already preordered the bestiary box and the RotRL box, so as soon as I see the new pawn bases available, I'll be ordering a few packs of those as well. Thanks!

If you are looking for bases, the big black pincher binder clips you get from an office supply store work great. Just clip it on and then remove the silver wire arms by pinching them together.

That is such a great idea! And relatively cheap too. With the added bonus of different sizes, 1" clips for your regular standies, 2" clips for your Big Bads.
You can even get different colours if you have trouble keeping track of the baddies when you have multiple of the same. With these the issue of the card slipping out with wear over time disappears as well. Either by getting enough that you never have to remove them, or by the fact that these clip very tight and are very resistant to wear.
Thanks TClifford.

On a related note, anyone knows where one can find bases for paper minis in Sweden?
Depends what you mean by paper miniatures. If you mean the flat print-it-yourself ones then I think one monk miniatures has some good sets. If you mean similar to the ones in the Beginners Box then others have already mentioned it.
