Teleporting from inside a `Rope Trick`?

Rules Questions

Is that even possible or do you need to do `Plane Shift`?

An extradimensional space is not "another plane" for most purposes, but it does seem from TriOmegaZero's citation that teleport won't work unless you lean out first...

True. Extradimensional (or nondimensional) is NOT the same thing as interplanar. Those effects are on the same plane, they just happen to be spaces that defy the laws of physics (such as the interior being larger than the exterior).

There is also this line from rope trick:

Quote:
Spells cannot be cast across the extradimensional interface, nor can area effects cross it.

So, you could teleport around inside of the rope trick, but not leave it via teleport.
