Yes, if your Fame is high enough (22, I think), you can outright buy +2 full plate armor.

You only need to have an item listed on a Chronicle Sheet if you do not have sufficient Fame to purchase it, or it is a non-standard item.

ok and to sell items do u get 50% of value

Yes, that's right. Any time you sell an item, you get back 50% of its purchase price.

But note that if you already have +1 Full Plate, you can upgrade it to +2 for the difference, rather than reselling it.

True. That'll save a ton of money.

But you still have to have enough fame to buy the +2 version as if it were a new item.
