iDesk: Apple's response to Microsoft Surface

Looks like there's a concept table coming. Very Mac-like with its sleek design, but only costs $8,400 so just a little more than your average table.

At this point concept art really doesn't mean much when actual working prototypes are out there Engadget on the ExoDesk. The price in the technabob post was talking about the MS surface, not a hypothetical Apple made touch surface desk. The rumors for such a desk are far and away more spurious then those about a full sized Apple TV, with a screen and the whole bit.

I swear I've seen those images before in recycled rumors about touch screen iMacs. Huh... guess not and seems to originate at Mac|Life as a purely hypothetical illustration. Nope, not even a 3rd party device like the ModBooks.

I've been waiting so... so... so... long for something like this. There is unfortunately far too long of a wait for it to become a reality.

As there was nothing affordable on the market, we've created our startup in 2010 to make this: the ePawn Arena

ePawn Arena Trailer

We do target a price that gamers will be able to afford (around $400) and hopefully we'll be commercially released by year end/ early 2013.

If you guys can get some big players to adopt your platform (e.g. Monopoly, Life, Clue, etc...), then us gamers would benefit from the economies of scale.

Best of luck with your platform. I love the idea and hope it does well.

Apple can steal ideas along with the best of them.
