Devil fetus

Gamer Life General Discussion

Started a new campaign 2 weeks ago, was curious if there was any viable use for a devil fetus other then calling it George, and making it a roleplay element when I pick up a level in oracle and start having George haunt me.

doorstop?

Is the fetus alive or dead?

Devil fetuses can be outside the womb, and alive? Dear god... Nah, it's floating in a jar.

You never said it was outside the womb.

Oh dear, I dont think carrying around a preg succumbi with my character, would enhance my reputation with the other party members.

how big is it? i'm sure that it'd count as a +1 unholy improvised weapon, so add catch offguard and you can beat people up with it. not sure how deadly it is while in the jar, but you may need to take it out first. (warning: post should not be taken seriously.)
would your DM let you use it as a power component in your spells? maybe as a focus or something.

Pickled devil fetus...Good Eats!!!

Well, devils are lawful, there is going to all sorts of legal issues to owning the fetus. Fiendish stem cells have lots of potential though...

Demented images now run through my mind of my rouge/oracle sneak attacking by slapping the fetus in someone's face. Thank you for that great mental image. Lol

@PaperAngel: rookie! everyone knows Rogues come from behind.

Psh, as if, the good ones actually standing right in front of people, without anyone noticing them as they slap people with devil fetuses!

Wow. . . That can be taken a couple of ways, especially in the context of this thread. Anyways. . .

But a pregnant succubi could do wonders for your reputation, depending how you spin it. "We fell in love and now her sisters wish to drag her back to hell, but I'm determined not to let that happen. She's trying to reform herself, but its not easy, so watch yourself, but try and cut her some slack as well."

Side note: Succubi are demons, so if its a succubi's fetus, it should be demon, not devil.

use him as an unholy symbol

Edit: or is it a holy symbol, as you show you kill little baby devils before lunch?

>> I did mention this fetus is probably going to haunt me, as my oracle curse, correct? Lol fetuses that are alive usually can't haunt things.

If you want to be technical, demons dissolve when slain (returning to their home plane) so they can't leave bodies behind anyways.

I know that that used to be the rule, but I can't seem to locate in the Beastiary. Could you provide a reference?

All I know is I appraised it with a Nat 20, so I know what it is lol

Here I thought that devils were formed not born... Go figure... :D
