Hallowed Chalice

Rules Questions

Grand Lodge

The Hallowed Chalice from page 24 of the Adventurer's Armory is a channel foci that holds a channel energy charge to be applied to the imbiber like a potion.

If one was to purchase multiple chalices, could you store multiple channels across each chalice to your maximum number per day?

And if so, what if you waited until late in the day to charge them. Would you also gain your channel charges back in the morning essentially granting you double your normal number?

The reason I ask is this came up at a recent PFS event. Most scenarios occur over the course of a single day.

Also, this is described as a chalice, not a waterskin or similar item. So it presumably does not have a top or cap. I would assume traveling with filled chalices would prove to be problematic.

Thoughts?

I believe that you can store them up, but it specifically mentions "spilling" as a possible way to ruin the effect, so carrying them would normally pose difficulties. You could conceivably cover them somehow, I suppose. But I don't know how that sort of thing works in PFS.

Cover them with some glue and leather.. you wind up with hallowed sippy cups...

You'd still have to draw them and then activate them, taking twice as long as usual. Probably another move action to take the top off.

Not necessarily, take a dagger, punch a hole in the leather. And viola, free action.
