Can you craft a slotted item in a different slot?

Rules Questions

For example could I craft a Charm of Fate in a Wrist slot instead of a Neck slot?

Is there an additional cost to create an item in a different slot than what it was originally?

Any deviation from the item as it exist in the book is GM territory, and is not strictly a yes or no answer.

Grand Lodge

It would be a homebrew item. Your GM may allow it.

The pricing guidelines don't suggest any additional cost, but that is all they are. They're not rules. If the GM thinks that the change makes the item more advantageous (for example, if it allows you to combine a Bracelet of Fate with a neck slot item that you would normally be prevented from wearing) she can apply an appropriate cost multiplier, or just as easily tell you that your suggested design is not viable.

I would say yes a GM with either no added cost for a similar slot such as head to neck or 150% of cost for a major change in slot belt to hands for example.

Only your GM can answer this question.

If the DM follows the crafting guidelines then no it shouldn't be any increase in the cost.
