Ok assume you multiclass barbarian with a caster it dosent really matter which.
As per the rage rules any skill/ability that "requires patience or concentration" can't be used.
However the Controlled Rage ability says that the barbarian can still use Intelligence-, Dexterity-, and Charisma-based skills while raging.
Does this also then apply to abilities like spellcasting, because a controlled rage barbarian can in thoery make spellcraft checks during a rage.

You can cast spells with no ranks in Spellcraft. Even with a negative bonus too!
yes, as written that's what it looks like. Of course there is already a Rage power that lets you do this (moment of clarity).

true but I was more thinking in terms on concentration require to perform an action while raging.
so if you can disable a lock while raging is that a similar level of concentration to casting a spell
