My Oracle has played his first PFS game a few days ago, and I know I can't change his skills right now. But, when he levels, I was hoping to put some ranks into a Craft skill for making my Day Job check (as a Craft check for this character will be higher than a Profession check since I have a higher Int).
Since I gave the character the name Sancho, the GM said I really should put some ranks into Profession (Courtesan), which I'll probably put 1 rank when I level, and the rest into a Craft.
So, the question is, what would be a good Craft for a Courtesan? I thought about Craft (Courtesan), which would be amusing, just not sure if a GM in the future will have any issues with it.

Craft Alchemy. This is probably the only craft skill that will be used in PFS play as well as for your Day Job rolls. You won't ever be able to use it to actually craft alchemical items, (unless you dump a level in alchemist, not something I'd recommend for that reason alone) but you will encounter assorted alchemical oddments in your travels as well as poisons. You'd need to make a check for these, and you will need it for your Day Job roll anyway, so your actually getting at least 2 uses for it, for the sake of practicality.
Otherwise, if your just doing it to add a bit of story flavor go with whatever fits your character's backstory. How was the character raised? He had to have been exposed to some craft or profession during the course I'm sure you'll think of something.

Are you sure you mean "courtesan"?
1) I'm having difficulty connecting the name Sancho to courtesan. I could see courtier possibly, or more likely squire. I assume this is a reference to a particular Sancho in history or fiction ... can you point me to which one?
2) Courtesan is a specifically female noun. Assuming you actually meant courtesan there are more appropriate male nouns.

1) It's a reference to a character in the Trey Parker & Matt Stoner film "Orgazmo". There was a character in it who was auditioning to become an adult film star. When asked why he should be hired, his response was "I am Sancho".
2) While I realize Courtesans are usually female, I couldn't think of an appropriate male noun; and Profession (Courtesan) is actually listed under the Profession skill, so I just went with that.EDIT: Main reason I was looking for advice was to come up with a crazy & funny Craft that I could use for Day Job rolls, and that'd fit with Sancho from that movie. Otherwise, if I can't find anything appropriate, I'd probably just go with Craft (Alchemy).

Ah. Not a Don Quixote reference then. In any case not a film I am familiar with.
The closest male noun is arguably "gigolo" although there are more colourful slang terms.
Craft: Weapon is arguably appropriate given the wikipedia summary of the film. It also provides a lovely double entendre.
Craft: Toy might also be justifiable.

If this is for PFS I'm pretty sure you aren't allowed to take ranks in Craft or Profession.
PFS allows for ranks in those skills. It is the actual process of crafting items that is not permitted. Many don't take them, as PFS (especially in the Faction scene) is very skill-dependent campaign and are as likely to come up as other skills (mainly Perception and Diplomacy.)

Ah, I think you are looking for Profession(Gigolo) or Profession (Pool Boy). Or you could do Profession(Gardener) and just tell people you specialize in triming the hedges.

Profession (Gigolo) would work, and I'll probably put 1 rank in that. I'd just have a higher bonus if I used a Craft skill, since my Int is higher than my Wis.
Perhaps I'll take the suggestion of Craft (Sculpture) and use my imagination :)

If you're just doing it for money, just take diplomacy and buy a caravan at 10 PPs; it's better for you in general. It's a useful skill and maxing it has in-game effect. Plus, it's really the skill anything like "Cortesean" and "Gigolo" would work on.
In the end, I may just take the Caravan vanity.
I mainly resurrected this thread for the Craft (Dinner) joke. :)
