If I both silent and still a spell, can I cast it without people knowing that I did so? Say for instance I'm in a crowd and I cast it to kill a guy speaking from a podium for instance. Would people know I cast it if there's nothing to point to it? If there's the material component argument, then what about spells without them?

For the material components, you could add in Eschew Materials Feat to take care of it, to end up with a spell that had no Vocal, Somnatic or Material components.
You still have to concentrate to cast the spell. That means that there is a chance that someone will detect you cast the spell. This is assuming that there is nothing that links you directly to the spell (as a fireball spell has a direct link to the caster).
I wouldn't say that you were untraceable, but depending on the spell, there is a good chance that no one would detect/determine that you were the caster.

Still Spell (Metamagic)
You can cast spells without moving.
Benefit: A stilled spell can be cast with no somatic components. Spells without somatic components are not affected. A stilled spell uses up a spell slot one level higher than the spell's actual level.
Silent Spell (Metamagic)
You can cast your spells without making any sound.
Benefit: A silent spell can be cast with no verbal components. Spells without verbal components are not affected. A silent spell uses up a spell slot one level higher than the spell's actual level.
Special: Bard spells cannot be enhanced by this feat
Eschew Materials
You can cast many spells without needing to utilize minor material components.
Benefit: You can cast any spell with a material component costing 1 gp or less without needing that component. The casting of the spell still provokes attacks of opportunity as normal. If the spell requires a material component that costs more than 1 gp, you must have the material component on hand to cast the spell, as normal.
Only takes up a slot 2 higher so seems like your good to go. That said, this is a place where magic is very common and so is communication with the dead. I'd leave town before the figure out to round up casters. even then the guy who comes in and runs off after the murder is going to get attention as well.
Original question answer - Yes RAW it is undetectable. Also the GM might try some thing funny with spell craft to get back at you.
Spellcraft
(Int; Trained Only)
You are skilled at the art of casting spells, identifying magic items, crafting magic items, and identifying spells as they are being cast.
Check: Spellcraft is used whenever your knowledge and skill of the technical art of casting a spell or crafting a magic item comes into question. This skill is also used to identify the properties of magic items in your possession through the use of spells such as detect magic and identify. The DC of this check varies depending upon the task at hand.
Action: Identifying a spell as it is being cast requires no action, but you must be able to clearly see the spell as it is being cast, and this incurs the same penalties as a Perception skill check due to distance, poor conditions, and other factors.

You really need quicken to be closer to undetectable.
Now, if someone has up an arcane sight they are going to see you casting no matter what.

You only need to see a spell being cast to attempt to identify it. None of the above feats explicitly allow you to cast a spell in a way that makes it untraceable.
None of them provides a benefit that makes it impossible to recognize a spell being cast even if it's nothing more than a moment of concentration.
While it makes logical sense that combining them would do so, it's not clearly allowed so check with your dm.
If you are the dm, consider the ramifications of allowing the pc casters to do this.
Charm person /everyone important.
Random attack spells without threat of repercussions. Ect.

I don't really want to break the game, but it would be nice to have a life-saving trick up my sleeve (but granted, the charm monster thing would be a tad gamebreaking for a situation like this). Ethereal jaunt and most importantly mass invisibility (heck, I can have the eyelashes encased in gum arabic in my mouth just for a quick escape plan) seems to be a pretty sweet spell.
Going over some of the spells, many of them have some pretty obvious visual clues, mainly rays and spells that fly out and away from you.
Won't deny silent+still mass hold person also has its benefits.
