Trying to figure out if I could make him better or more gypsy like.
Rules I have in place
Kitsune is the race.
We are playing Serpent skull, so I'm taking that campaign trait.
I need to be able to spell craft to ID items, It seems I'm going to be the only real arcanist to do that. Though this could be a spell-like ability or something else.
I want to be able to use the kitsune's enchantment power.
I cannot make a rogue or druid.
House rules
Weapon finesse is free feat.
Climb, Swim, Jump are Athletics skill
Escape Artist, Tumble, ??? are acrobatics skill.
I get two more traits beyond the campaign trait.
3rd party classes may be available.

If you want to make him "gypsy," that means you should make him Varisian.
Of course, the Varisians are human, not kitsune, but there's nothing to stop a kitsune from being sold to the Varisians and raised as one of their own.
Having him be a witch is logical, but he should probably pick some familiar other than a fox since that would be odd. I'd suggest a monkey if it's allowed and a cat if not.

I suppose the first question to answer is: "what makes a gypsy a gypsy to you?" Do you want a freeroaming vagabond, unfettered by the restrictions of society? Or the romanticised "carnie"? The scoundrel with strong traditions and ditto family ties? The exotic mystic?
"Gypsy" can mean many things, to many people.

a combonation of the vagabond and the romanticised carny i guess. lots of dangly do hickies, scarfs and loose fitting cloth.
Question though.. Is it possible to do a cross-blooded sorcerer and tattoo sorcerer?
I'm thinking of having serpentine and pestilence. That way those nasty little mindless vermin have no chance against my charming ways.
