I'm looking to play a paladin with a spellcasting focus, that destroys undead.
Human, 20 point buy, Oathbound Paladin (Oath Against Undeath)
STATS
Str 14
Dex 12
Con 14
Int 8
Wis 10
Cha 18
FEATS
1) Power Attack
1h) Persuasive
3) Extra Lay on Hands
5) Channel Smite
7) Greater Mercy
9) Ultimate Mercy
11) Extra Channel Energy
13) Improved Channel Energy
GUIDELINES
Front line fighter in a campaign with lots of undead. Backup healer for the party. Two-handed sword primarily, sword and shield occasionally. Also is the party face.
THEORY
Oath against undeath at level 11 allows channel energy to harm undead at the cost of only 1 LoH. By that level, will have 5+4+2=11 LoH, and 4 more LoH specifically for channeling.
Thoughts, suggestions, and critiques?

Seems good, but with so much sunk into CHA over STR, and with most of your feats going to Smite and mercys, Youre going to underperform a bit vs non-undead enemys. This shouldn't be a problem if you have another frontliner to cover for you. You have no general combat feats besides Power attack.
My anslysis: Really good vs undead and evil. Decent healer
But not a good frontliner for general enemys. Vs general, you still make a decent tank though. Being Face will eat up most or all of your skill points but you can do it, especially if you take favored class to skill points.

for an anti undead focus, could consider a weapon shift to Bludgeoning for a Flail / Warhammer / Heavy Flail / Great Club of Disruption. DC is soft, but every roll adds up.
Or, use the weapon choice to cover up the challenge against non smitable foes.
Consider finding the points for at least an 11 (better, a 12) in Wisdom and dipping one level into a Cleric with the Glory Domain (or Inquisitor with Glory Domain). More DC.
