FWIW I'd beg my DM to let me point buy stats rather than play a character with all 18s due to luck.
There is an exception to this statement. If every other player also rolled a full set of 18s ... things might get interesting.

If every other player "rolled" a full set of 18s I'd run and hide because the DM will descend like an avalanche of excreta on the party.

If every other player really rolled all 18s I'd either buy a lottery ticket or living in fear of karma and probability balancing the scales by killing me by hitting me with a car.... while I was waterskiing.

But the hypothetical situation is just so people won't respond invalidly. This wasn't supposed to be a discussion of what class is superior, nor how to stay friendly to other players when one is superior.

I was just wondering what character concepts you thought were good, but wouldn't likely see the light of day because they made a character too MAD.

Me and my mate finally persuaded our regular group to change from 3.5 to pathfinder. We all rolled new 1st Lvl Charakters, I vowed for point buy, but the others insisted on doing it as we have always done it: 4d6 and do away with the bad die ... well, I ended up with some of the most powerful stats I every rolled:
17 / 16 / 15 / 15 / 12 / 12

I decided to do a half-orcish toothy natural attack shapeshifter ranger and one shotted both endboss monsters with my three full BAB attacks with full strength at Lvl 2 :D

Now, at Lvl 3 I attack against humans (Fav Enemy) with +10 / +10 / +10 (1d4+10) while shifting and I am giving my GM some serious headache because of my damage output.

Its a really funny character. I am planning to take Improved Unarmed Strike, Multiattack and the Boar Style, attacking with unarmed kicks as iterative attacks that can rend for 2d6 and 1d6 bleed (we figured that the 2d6 bleed was a typo) and then the claws and bite as secondary attacks. All in all this will give me a very impressive number of attacks (5 by Lvl 7) and damage output.

And it feels just damn good to rip a tough monster appart :>

I would Multiclass the hell out of that character, until it is (just so happens to be) on par with "regular" characters.

I'm with Jlord. I'd probably go with a Warrior or an Adept

Make him the last Azlanti; and a Monk just because you got the MAD covered :P

Drow noble magus, monk, or paladin/antipaladin.

When you don't have to worry about penalties(dump stats) it frees you up to optimize things like Monk(MoMS)/Ninja/Duelist (defense) or Summoner/Cleric/Druid/Mystic Theurge/Loremaster (summoning specialist)

I have a Tetori/Lore Warden/Synthesist(quad) (final embrace master) build I'd try out.

Been kicking around ideas on how to exploit Furious Finish between Barb/Fighter/Horizon Walker, but I doubt that needs all 18s

I think any inquisitor dip would work out pretty well too between cunning init/solo tactics/extended bane
