What feats and equipment are most useful when it comes to specialising a paladin to dragon-slaying?
Obviously, Bane weapon is a given, but beyond that, i've never been great at picking between so many options!
3rd party stuff is allowed too, so if there are any things like that on the subject, all the better!

This archetype could help you a lot.
Also, note that even without any appropriate equipment, a paladin can make an evil dragon explode just from a well-placed Smite Evil (which would deal twice damage on the first attack) + full-round attack.

Only caveat on that is that in the unlikely event you hit 20 that capstone needs some major revision. As written it'll be useless again most level appropriate dragon foes.
EDIT: Archetypes can stakc though they both modify divine bond so it would be a no go anyway. However, from RP perspective, I don't see an issue. It's easy to take it as an oath against evil dragon-kind while still being an ally of the good ones.

Dragon-slaying while worshipping a draconic deity ? O_o
Well... I fear you'll just have to keep a +1 Dragon Bane weapon on you just in case, or a handful of such arrows. Outside of multiclassing and archetypes, you don't have a lot of content to deal with a specific foe, especially when logic dictates that you shouldn't.

It's not that odd at all. Bahamut vs. Tiamat is pretty much the archetype for dragon slaying dragon worshippers.

Dragon-slaying while worshipping a draconic deity ? O_o
I'll explain.
this character is a pathfinderised version of my 3.5 D&D paladin, who was a dragonborn of bahamut (we converted that, too)
so pretty much my whole reason for existence is the destruction of all evil dragonkind. Before i used feats and equipment from books like Draconomicon, but i'm mainly just trying to save my DM the effort of approving 3.5 material into Pathfinder.
EDIT: Ninja'd by Caius

Well, like said previously, the vanilla paladin is already specialized in dealing damage to evil dragons. If the campaign turns around a lot of dragons, a +X Dragon Bane Holy weapon will be devastating in addition to Smite Evil. At level 12, a +3 Dragon Bane weapon, plus Divine Bond for Holy enchantment and +1 to the weapon will give you a +4 Dragon Bane Holy engine of destruction :
Greatsword, Smite Evil, Power Attacking while hasted (assuming 24 Str, 18 Cha and Weapon Focus/Crit focus), Silver Bracelets, against Evil dragon :
BAB : +12/+7/+2
Att : +19/+14/+9
Total : +27/+27/+22/+17 ; 2d6+28+32 smite (+4d6) (17-20x2) (First attack) /2d6+28+16 smite (+4d6) (per following attack)
Assuming only the two first attacks hit, without critical hit : average 146 damage.
HP of a Very Old (CR 15) Black Dragon : 250.

There has already been a lot of great advice for weapon selection, so I thought that I would give you a heads up on some good armor.
The “energy resistance” armor special abilities might be nice, especially if the chromatic dragons you’re facing are mostly one type, although they are very expensive.
Champion armor (special ability) from the Advanced Player’s guide gives you an additional +2 sacred bonus to AC against the enemy your character smites evil with and costs +1 price bonus on the armor.
Also don’t forget that immunity to fear helps paladins fight the dragons.
