Lore Warden is stupendously nice: finally, a brainy fighter archetype that doesn't suck.
I've always been partial towards the Fighter option in the old Campaign Setting book which traded in the 1st Level Fighter Bonus Feat for more skill points per level and class skills.

agreed plus free expertise makes me feel better about it than dropping a feat just to be good at tripping.

Absolutely. One of the best CM users. Tap this in with Maneuver Master Monk and you've got on hell of a wrestler.
