If a player has levels in two different classes that give them the same spell, is their caster level dependent on the class whose spell slot they used to cast it, or do they add?
As a simple example if a character has 2 levels of bard and 1 level of cleric, what's their caster level for casting cure light wounds using a bard spell slot? What if they use a cleric spell slot?
What ever their caster level in the class that they are casting the spell from.
