Master Craftsman

Rules Questions

Can the feat master craftsman be taken more than once. I would like to take it for jewelry and clothing.

Master Craftsman is a horrible, ambiguous thing that nobody agrees upon. It really should have been errata'd or at least clarified long, long ago. But alas, nothing has happened

Okay, enough whining. Yes, you can take it multiple times. While it lacks the normal "You can take this feat multiple times" text, there is nothing in the feats section that prohibits you from taking the same feat multiple times. Heck, you could theoretically take Power Attack 10 times if you really wanted. They wouldn't stack, but there is no stacking here to worry about.

I would let it happen so then you could make both magicla weapons and bows.

I disagree with this. You cannot take Master Craftsman multiple times as it does not have the Special Clause (below).

Without the clause it can only be taken once per the rules. However, I could see a GM letting you take it twice if you wanted.

These guys are right about the vagueness of it, but here's an alternative suggestion (if you have the skill points to spare.)

You could ask the DM to houserule it to apply to all relevant skills (as a single feat). Craft: Weapons and Armor, Craft: Jewelry, etc.
