Multiple archetypes for one character?

Rules Questions

Is it legal to apply two or more archetypes to a class so long as they don't conflict? I'm looking at a Ranger built with Guide and Skirmisher. Guide would override his favored enemy and hunter's bond, and Skirmisher would override his divine spells.

Yes.

yep. along as they don't change/replace the same feature, then you can have multiply archetypes

Also, you must make sure you take ALL of the archetypical changes and not pick and choose. (had a player try it...)

Awesome. Thanks, guys. This is going to be one rad Arcane Archer.

Was he intentionally breaking the rules, or was he mistakenly assuming they were no different from 3.5's Alternate Class Features?

It was an honest mistake, he assumed it was like the Alternate Class Features..

In fairness, we are still fairly new to PF (6 months) so it was no biggie..
