FYI, I will be submitting the GM badge list to the convention staff on Saturday 7 January, so please complete your GM signups on Friday 6 January.

Too all the GM's, I recommend that you have your character's with you in case your assigned table does not go off. This is my first year at Winter War and I am not sure what kind of "walk up" attendance we are likely to get.

This is exciting!

well - I thought I had it... and it died. so I guess I need to try again. In a few minutes. But I get to do it three times ....

ok, I got the Warhorn, but PayPal will not except my card so... looks like I'm in limbo for now.

Still waiting to see if anyone will work for me ... not holding out hope tho :(

I am currently in India, but I may be able to make it to this and GM a couple of slots. I'm signing up on warhorn and trying to book a room, but it is "challenging" at best. The internet does not run on AA batteries, apparently.

Lol ... I've emailed all my co-workers that could possible cover for me .. hoping one of the people who's holiday day I picked up will be nice and take the sunday for me.. we'll see.

I'll have to see if i can get some of my janesville players together and head down for saturday... it's an eight hour round trip, but it would certainly be nice to have a chance to play some PFS for a change.

That means you can play a scenario during the 4-hour trip down. Murder on the Throaty Mermaid doesn't need much in the way of maps.

wouldn't be the first time :) ... we used to run LG mods on the way to GenCon and Origins... once, we even managed to synch it up between two different vehicles...

You would be welcome. We have a number of GM's with no players yet.

"EEEEEKKKK" dives for cover. What's the DC on this? is it a reflex Save like Glitterdust? "Arrrggggh, we've been dusted!!!!"

5/5

Sorry .. this is a supernatural ability as it's part of the Purple Fluffy CatBunnyGnome aura.

You would need to make a successful DC 35 Will save** to avoid the domination effect, however, you are still enthralled as is part of the aura

**As per supernatural ability the aura prevents the ability to take 10 while attempting the save

wow - Will Save? no problem. Got the undead template, being an Undead Zombie Gamer has it's advantages (such as a "aura" all my own - three days into a Con...). Being basicly mindless helps too....

Reflex saves, now those could be a problem.

The Aura surrounding the Purple Fluffy CatBunnyGnome has an automatic save vs. gamerfunk aura .... and being as She will spray you with purple glitter if the aura becomes to close my aura of goodness will overpower your aura..

Essentially I win.. you can take your dice and go home : D: D: D:

*sprinkles purple glitter around Nosig and starts chanting*

Excuse me, can someone point me to the aisle with the brain bleach...? ;-)

Do you prefer your brain bleach at 120 proof or 151 or higher?

Perhaps we can interest you in some oral strychnine?

Bob, right now I've both got a badge for the con, and signed up for slots through the convention web site. I've told people I'll be out of town that weekend. I'm currently trying to square away a ride down to Urbana-Champaign and roomies to split the hotel room with.

It would help if I could hawk some inventory to recover costs...

Liberty's Edge RPG Superstar 2008 Top 32, 2011 Top 16

Just wanted to mention that if anyone's looking for a hotel still, I pricelined one in the area (an 8 minute drive according to mapquest) bidding $40 a night at the La Quinta (2.5 star rating.)

The GM list, as it currently stands, has been submitted to the convention staff. If you drop from the list of GM's, please notify me ASAP.

Also, we still have a number of open slots for GM's to signup. To further reward volunteers, if you successfully GM four or more events, you will receive a gift certificate for Paizo.com in the amount of $10/event.

See y'all there!

The Exchange 5/5 RPG Superstar 2010 Top 16

I have a hotel room, and I'm looking for a roommate or two. The convention rates are about $100 a night, so if we get three people in a room for two nights, that should run us each about $65 or $70.

2/5 ****

Chris, I and another person might well be interested in taking you up on that.

Email me at design At adastragames DOT com.

3/5

I also have a room available and am looking for a roommate, in case someone is interested.

It looks like Warhorn has some scenarios that aren't listed on the Winterwar website registration page. For example, the Winterwar registration for Friday Afternoon lists PFS Classic and PFS Sewer Dragons of Absalom. Warhorn shows frosfur captives, sewer dragons of absalom, echos of the overwatched, quest for perfection I, wonders of the weave I, Classic, and first steps I.

How should we sign up for events that are in Warhorn, but not in the drop down on the Winter Wars registration site?

4/5

Is it possible that the games are full and so that is why you cant sign up for them? Not everyone uses warhorn (hard to believe i know), so both sites arn't always mirrored. Try emailing Susan to inquire, if slots are full. She is awesome, in her speed and help. Also Bob may have the info too. I tried to look but wont let me on register site.

smckin@gmail.com

Grand Lodge 4/5 5/55/5 ***

I checked the offerings on both Warhorn and Winter War and they are the same. As jjaamm said, it might be that full events are not being displayed on the Winter War site. To obtain a seat for an event, you need to register with the convention website. If an event is full, please select another one. The Warhorn site is primarily being used for GM mustering, although it would be helpful if players mirrored their registrations by signing up on Warhorn.

The important thing to remember is that the warhorn list will not be used to seat players. You must register with the convention.

As far as I can tell, the Classic offerings are still available and that might allow you to play a scenario that is already full in another slot.

Feel free to email me if you have any additional questions.

I got confirmation that the Winter War site only alows selection of events that aren't full, and there's still lots to pick from.
