A question on spells

Rules Questions

Apart from magic missle are there any spells that have no to hit roll and no saving throw ?

Loads. Do you mean offensive ones, though? And if you mean offensive do you mean direct damage spells?

Summon spells, and a lot of other conjurations (walls, fog) have no save and no SR and no attack roll.

Yeah.

but off the top of my head I can only think of one.

Stone call:
Casting Time 1 standard action
Components V, S, DF
EFFECT

Range medium (100 ft. + 10 ft./level)
Area cylinder (40-ft. radius, 20 ft. high)
Duration 1 round/level
Saving Throw none; Spell Resistance no

DESCRIPTION

A rain of dirt, gravel, and small pebbles fills the area, dealing 2d6 points of bludgeoning damage to every creature in the area. This damage only occurs once, when the spell is cast.

For the remaining duration of the spell, this debris covers the ground, making the entire area difficult terrain. At the end of the duration, the rocks disappear, leaving no aftereffects (other than the damage dealt).

Ones that do direct damage only

Cloudkill has no save against targets with less than 4 HD.

Power Word Kill has no save if the target has 100 hit points or less.

Acid Fog does 2d6 damage per round to everyone in it. By that level, magic missile is doing more damage unless you want to target multiple opponents.

Ice Storm does a total of 5d6 damage.

There's probably a few others. The damage output is generally rather unimpressive for the level of the spell.

Black Tentacles doesn't have a saving throw although you do have to roll a grapple check in order for creatures to actually take damage.

Frost Fall does 2d6 damage to all creatures in the area of affect on the round it's cast with no save. On subsequent rounds, creatures still in the area of affect take 1d6 damage, fort save for half.
