Can you expand on that Abraham I am trying to figure out how to gain a spell not on a magus spell list w/o having to use a wand or other magical device.
You are lucky to be playing a Magus. The Spell Blending arcana allows you to add one or more spells from the Wizard/Sorcerer's list to your own list.

You have Two choices:
1. Take the Magus Arcana that allows you to add a wizard spell to your class list.
2. Wait until 19th level when you get to pick two wizard spells of every level from 0 to 6th.

Thanks every one. You have been very helpful. I was confused about copying spells form scrolls into your spell book I was not sure if you could copy spells that were not on your spell list and Now I know you can't. I am pkaing my first arcane caster in pathfinder and some of the myriad of rules are confusing. Thanks again.

Remember, there is spell research. It may be possible to research a spell that's not on your spell list, but expect your GM to examine your request carefully.
For example, one of my multi-classed characters was allowed to research a version of produce flame that's usually a druid spell as a wizard spell.
