Mobile apps?

Are there any plans to add message board support for mobile apps like tapatalk?

Improving the behavior of the site on mobile devices is on the todo list. I don't know that we'd ever go so far as having an actual app but stranger things have happened.

One issue I have with my android is that the focus of typing shifts, so that I can't always see what I am typing. In other cases, it bounces around when typing. Very frustrating.

I don't think the OP means a "Paizo" app, so much as support for something like Tapatalk

There are Tapatalk server-side plugins for quite a few different forum server programs. I've heard implementation is relatively painless. If this forum is some kind of homebrew thing then it's a completely different story.

Our messageboards are 100% custom. Supporting something like Tapatalk would require new code.

Its a shame. I can only my use these forums on my laptop, which I'm barely on. Tapatalk would be a killer feature for this forum -- its what all the kids are using! ;)

Interesting. The forums work great using Chrome on my Nexus 7. Are you using the older "Internet" browser that included on all <4.1 versions of android? If so, I'd say the problem lies with that browser's rendering engine and not Paizo's site.
