Abundant Ammunition and the Inquisitor

Is there any good reason why the Inquisitor doesn't get Abundant Ammunition on his spell list?

I mean, it's not as if the class isn't heavily weighted to be a ranged class, just by taking a look at its weapon proficiencies...

Silver Crusade

It is a conjuration spell. Aside from Create Water and Fleshworm Infestation, the inquisitor has no conjuration spells. So sue me if you can find another one- but the point is that the inquisitor doesn't really conjure things.

That seems kind of a flimsy excuse, sorry to say. Especially since you immediately contradicted yourself by providing counterexamples. ^^

just remember that inquisitors are skills based, so umd is an option. you really shouldn't need the spell though. stone arrow/bolts are cheap as heck and you can have 4 stacks for the weight of one. so lack of ammunition shouldn't be an issue. besides would you really want to waste a spell known on such a spell when you have so many more flavorful options?

My issue is more that the spell is very much suited for the class, on the basis that it is very much ranged combat-weighed ( you get all normal ranged weapon proficiencies and repeating crossbows , but only simple melee weapons + your deities favored weapon ) class.

The Ranger has it, the Bard has it, for some reasons the Cleric and Sorcerer/Wizard have it, too. It should be on the Inquisitors spell list.

Uh, you mean See Invisibility? That's already on the Inquisitors spell list... ^^

Yeah the spell should probably be on the spell list so change it if you are the DM or ask for it to be changed.

But also consider just ignoring ammo all together it is like counting copper pieces not all that fun.

Ohh and there are these arrows out of Elves of Golarion called Durable Arrows they don't break and only cost 1 g.p each.

I admit, I was thinking about Repeating Crossbows and their damnably small magazines. :p

You mean like all the cure spells? ;) Plus 20% of his orisons are conjuration. Inquisitors can conjure just as much as any other class, so that is obviously not the reason.

I was shocked when I realized this wasn't an inquisitor spell. I was helping a friend make an inquisitor of abadar, and thought it was the perfect spell, guess the designers thought differently.
